What is the Criminal Background Check?
As part of the admissions process IQGATES, LLC will not do business with independent contractors who have been convicted, pled guilty or pled ‘no contest’ to any felony; or, certain misdemeanor charges, including but not limited to theft, fraud, drug, violence or other similar violations. In addition, certain Arise clients require background checks in order to access their systems and interact with their customers.
Do I have to pay for certification class?
Yes, you are responsible for paying for your certification class. Certification classes start at $4.99 and up $60.00
What equipment is needed to Working From Home?
Having the right equipment is a critical component to be eligible to Work From Home.
Is there a service fee?
Yes, IQGATES/ARISE applies a 5% Platform Usage Fee to the total invoice amount, along with a $40.00 IBO fee per client per invoice—only when revenue is earned.
These fees are automatically deducted from your invoice payout, not billed separately. They include access to the Arise 24-Hour Client Technical Support Help Desk, the StarMatic® scheduling system, use of client systems, one-on-one support, security systems, and administrative processing.
What is the Harver Assessment?
The assessment covers soft skills, decision-making, and language capabilities. The scores from the assessment are combined with the preferences selected (e.g., type of program and times/days to service) to match you to the best available opportunities.
Do I get paid during “training?”
What is an SOW?
Statement of Work (SOW) is a contract that Arise/Client issues to IQAGTES that outlines the client requirements, pay and the terms of service for the agent that is subcontracted for IQGATES. These contracts are renewed every 30 - 90 days. Failure to meet clients' requirements will result in agent getting terminated and removed from IQGATES.
Do you take out taxes from revenue earned?
No. You are self-employed and operate your own business. We provide a 1099-Misc form at the end of the year; therefore, you are responsible for paying your income taxes. (IMPORTANT: don’t forget to keep track of all your start-up and ongoing costs of your business! Most expenses, including your home office, are tax deductible
How many hours am I required to work?
You can work as many hours as you’d like. However, your minimum is 15 hours per week as required under the terms of the Statement of Work (SOW) for most Arise client business opportunities. Arise has hours for CSP’s to service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The hours available for a specific client will be outlined in the Opportunity Announcements you receive once you complete the Admissions process. (Subject to change.)
