What is the Criminal Background Check?

As part of the admissions process IQGATES, LLC will not do business with independent contractors who have been convicted, pled guilty or pled ‘no contest’ to any felony; or, certain misdemeanor charges, including but not limited to theft, fraud, drug, violence or other similar violations. In addition, certain Arise clients require background checks in order to access their systems and interact with their customers. 


Do I have to pay for certification class?

Yes, you are responsible for paying for your certification class. Certification classes start at $4.99 and up $60.00

IQGATES LLC offers a military discount of 50% off your first client certification course. To be eligible, send an email to military@arise.com providing proof that you are either active military, a military spouse or a veteran.


What equipment is needed to Working From Home?

Having the right equipment is a critical component to be eligible to Work From Home.

Is there a service fee?

Yes, IQGATES/ARISE charges a fee of $49.75  per client each invoice. ONLY if you are receiving revenue. IQGATES/ARISE fees are automatically deducted from your check. IQGATES/ARISE fees, includes the Arise 24-Hour Client Technical Support Help Desk and StarMatic® scheduling system, the use of clients' systems, our one on one support,  security systems i.e. DUO mobile and VPN, and our processing fees.

What is the Voice Assessment?

The Voice Assessment is a free and fast 10 minute evaluation that is conducted over the telephone. This is part of the admissions process. It measures your voice quality and your ability to effectively interact with customers over the phone.


Do I get paid during “training?”

IQGATES offers certification courses that help to prepare you for servicing your chosen client. You must successfully pass/completed the certification course in order to offer a Statement of Work (SOW).There is no paid training.
Some companies pay revenue once you begin taking calls during the certification course. It is recommended that you take an evening certification course and keep your full time day job. Many agents do this until they are prepared to work from home full time.

Training is usually broken up into three phases.

Phase I.Instructor Led eLearning& Self-Paced Work: This is the unpaid phase of your training. Phase I is a combination of 2-4 hours per day of instructor-led sessions and Self-paced daily assessments. 100% attendance is required


Phase II.Foot in the Water! This phase you start earning some revenue. Phase II is a combination of 1-2 hours paid live call taking and 2 hours unpaid instructor-led sessions. 100% attendance is required


Phase III.Earn While You Learn! This phase you no longer have to attend certification class, apply what you’ve learned in Phase I and II to live call taking, and generate revenue. Phase III is your probation phase you are responsible for scheduling your own hours and meeting the client requirements.



What is the starting revenue rate, and how much can I earn?

The starting rate varies depending on the client you choose. Many pay per minute (.21 to .24 cents per minute) and/or a base pay of $9 to $12.50 per hour, depending upon your performance. The money you earn is only limited by your performance (high performers earn $13 to $16/hr) and how many hours you work. The better you perform the more you earn. You are in control of your earnings!

What is an SOW?

Statement of Work (SOW) is a contract that Arise/Client issues to IQAGTES that outlines the client requirements, pay and the terms of service for the agent that is subcontracted for IQGATES. These contracts are renewed every 30 - 90 days. Failure to meet clients' requirements will result in agent getting terminated and removed from IQGATES.

Do you take out taxes from revenue earned?

No. You are self-employed and operate your own business. We provide a 1099-Misc form at the end of the year; therefore, you are responsible for paying your income taxes. (IMPORTANT: don’t forget to keep track of all your start-up and ongoing costs of your business! Most expenses, including your home office, are tax deductible

How many hours am I required to work?

You can work as many hours as you’d like. However, your minimum is 15 hours per week as required under the terms of the Statement of Work (SOW) for most Arise client business opportunities. Arise has hours for CSP’s to service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The hours available for a specific client will be outlined in the Opportunity Announcements you receive once you complete the Admissions process. (Subject to change.)

How long will it take before I can begin earning money?

The admissions process can be completed in as little as three (3) days! Certification courses required to service a particular client can take between 2 - 6 weeks to complete. Once you have completed certification course, you are then eligible to begin earning income by servicing your chosen client. You can begin working from home and earning income in as little as 21 days.


After passing certification when do I get paid?

IQGATES pays semi monthly on the 15th and the end of the month.

IQGATES Invoice Periods will be the 1st - 15th and the 16th through the end of the month
